For our emergency patients this involves patients being assessed by a senior doctor who will provide their definitive care as soon as possible.

Our care delivery system is based on a multi-disciplinary team approach to care. Each shift is staffed by a complement of both senior and junior medical and nursing staff; this enables a safe, supported practice environment to facilitate safe patient care delivery and experiential learning opportunities for all staff. Medical and nursing staff work collaboratively in the comprehensive assessment, person centred care planning and delivery of treatment of our patients for the entire duration of their stay.
