  • Part Time, Permanent (FTE 0.6)
  • Classification: Health Professional Level 2 with a salary range of $88,406 - $98,899 per annum (pro rata) + Superannuation

About your new role

The Southern Wellbeing Psychological Therapies programs support clients presenting with mild to moderate anxiety, depression, stress, and trauma. Clients can be referred by GPs or community services for brief to moderate term focussed-psychological therapy under a current Mental Health Treatment Plan. The role will include the following:

  • Comprehensive mental health assessments, formulations, and treatment planning
  • Delivery of focussed psychological strategies and / or referral on to other clinicians in Links to Wellbeing stepped care programs
  • Liaison with the referrer and other agencies as appropriate, and discharge planning
  • Utilising Clinical Reviews with psychiatrist/clinical lead and team to improve quality of care and outcomes for clients.

What you will bring to the role

  • Formal tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Social Work or Mental Health Nursing
  • Accredited registration with a professional governing body such as AHRPA, AASW
  • A valid Working with Children Check
  • A valid Vulnerable Person check
  • A minimum 2 years supervised experience in the area of mental health
  • A minimum 2 years relevant professional development and or supervision
  • Experience in delivery cognitive behaviour therapy and other evidence-based interventions
  • Experience as a Mental Health Social Worker, Occupational Therapist, Mental Health Nurse, or Psychologist
