Requirements

• Sharing a Caring Role with another already LIVING IN Independent Contractor.
• Having the ability to also participate with an already existing group of regular Support Workers that are scheduled weekly during the day to provide:-
• Person centred assistance and prompting to two intellectually disabled individuals with:
  • Daily activities including grooming, cooking, laundry, shopping and general housekeeping
  • Goal setting and developing skills such as those associated with technology and using learning strategies that will see the participants continue to thrive
  • Community engagement including attending activities as required
  • Transport to appointments and activities as required

About You

• You enjoy a hands-on role and understand the importance of a person-centred support role.
• You are a capable and caring individual with a genuine desire to enter into a live-in mutually beneficial arrangement.
• You are a good communicator, flexible, as self-starter and positive.
• You can deliver your services as part of a team in a collaborative manner.
• You understand the significance of building relationships with not only the people you will support but with their family and other support workers too.

Essential

You will be engaged as an INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR therefore you will need to have:

• An ABN and necessary insurances.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Current National Police Check.
• Current First Aid and CPR Certificate.
• Current Full, unrestricted Class C Driver’s License and access to a registered, roadworthy vehicle with current third party insurance.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability).
• NDIS - Code of Conduct Orientation and Induction training.
• Australian working rights.
