ROLE

As Relationship Fundraising Specialist- you get to join this dynamic and collaborative team at an exciting time of transformation and growth. You will be responsible for contributing to strategy and driving their philanthropy and partnerships program with a focus on Major Gifts, Partnerships and Government relations. Working closely with their Fundraising Manager and CEO, your role will be to cultivate meaningful relationships and assist in driving the financial support for their programs and initiatives.

The role would suit a dynamic, collaborative & experienced relationship fundraising professional (could be philanthropy/ partnerships coordinator looking for their next step or suit more senior fundraising professional looking for flexibility/part time) that can innovate, collaborate, inspire and engage in long-term strategic relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support the Fundraising Manager and CEO to manage donor relationships with ongoing awareness of risk, opportunity and financial sustainability.
  • Identify, research, and cultivate relationships with high-net-worth individuals and partners aligned with this organisation’s mission and values.
  • Proactively secure new philanthropic partnerships
  • Work with Fundraising Manager to develop and implement strategies to engage philanthropic partners in long-term, strategic relationships.
  • Work with Fundraising Manager to develop personalised reports, impact stories, and updates for philanthropic partners, demonstrating the tangible outcomes of their support.
  • Provide stewardship to philanthropic partners, ensuring regular communication, updates on program impact, and acknowledgment of contributions.
  • Identify funding opportunities and build persuasive cases of support.
  • Ensure accurate and transparent reporting.

YOUR SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Strong business acumen with ability to think strategically
  • Similar experience in a relationship fundraising role with proven demonstrated success in mid or major gifts and/or partnerships preferable
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to work in a small, dynamic team environment.
  • Strong presentation skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solutions focused with adaptable and flexible approach to work.
  • Approachable, engaging and down-to-earth with ability to inspire confidence and capable of stewarding change.
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Up-to date covid-19 vaccination
