ABOUT WOMEN’S HEALTH EAST

Women’s Health East is a women’s health promotion agency based in Doncaster East that works across Melbourne’s eastern region. Women’s Health East’s vision is equality, empowerment, health and wellbeing for all women. Our strategic priorities are to advance gender equality, prevent violence against women and improve women’s sexual and reproductive health.

ROLE SUMMARY

The Strategic Communications Coordinator is responsible for developing and implementing Women’s Health East’s marketing and strategic and internal communications activities. The position designs and delivers high-quality external digital and traditional communications and marketing content to increase brand recognition and enhance public understanding of Women’s Health East and its programs and initiatives.

The Strategic Communications Coordinator supports the delivery of advocacy initiatives and women’s health promotion and awareness campaigns, which supports Women’s Health East to meet its vision and strategic priorities. The position develops and maintains positive relationships with members, subscribers, donors, communities and organisations who are engaged with Women’s Health East.
