In this role you will:

• Support key HR portfolios, based on need and the expertise of the successful candidate. These could include Onboarding, WHS, Injury/Return to Work and Workcover, Employee Relations, Award and EA interpretation.
• Coach managers to be HR-aware and to manage their teams proactively and with best-practice.
• Triage and respond to general HR enquiries in an efficient, effective and customer focused manner.
• Assist with the onboarding and induction of new head office employees.
• Coach and mentor trainees and university placement students on site.
• Maintain excellent, detailed HR records.
• Manage internal employee movements, including role changes, secondments and parental leave and coordinating with payroll
• Assist with additional HR projects and engagement initiatives as required.

From you, we need:

• A qualification in Human Resources of equivalent experience (desirable but not mandatory)
• Exceptionally well organised, with the ability to prioritise tasks appropriately to meet deadlines.
• Process driven and solution orientated.
• High level focus on quality and attention to detail
• Strong computer skills particularly in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
