You will be responsible for driving quality, sustainability and service delivery, facilitating a program consistent with the National Quality Standards and reflecting the National Quality Framework, taking our OSHC programs to the next level.

At Uniting, we understand the importance of our OSHC Service Leaders and have dedicated non-contact time, to complete your management tasks.

You will have access to our dedicated OSHC Director and Educational Leader who will support you to flourish in your role and support you in planning and implementing the services educational program to produce quality play-based educational and leisure programs.

 What’s on offer

You will have access to our dedicated OSHC Director and Educational Leader who will support and mentor you to flourish in your role and support you in planning and implementing the services educational program to produce quality play-based educational and leisure programs.

It’s a part-time permanent role, working 26 to 30 hours per fortnight including dedicated non-contact time to complete your management tasks.

In addition to receiving a salary and superannuation, you’ll receive 17.5% leave loading and an ability to increase your take-home pay by accessing up to $15,900 in salary packaging benefits.

We also offer a 60% staff discount on childcare through Uniting and there is the option to increase your annual leave entitlements through our purchased leave program.

About you

For this role you will have experience in shaping high quality service delivering learning and leisure experiences for children as well as promoting the wellbeing and support of children and families accessing the service.

You will also have:

  • A strong understanding of OSHC operational requirements, including demonstration of applied knowledge of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of child development and quality care practices.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of My Time, Our Place that is reflected and articulated in programming and reflection on outcomes.
  • An approved Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority qualification (please check the position description for your qualification).
  • The ability to be available for a range of shifts, including split shifts, ranging from 6:45am to 6pm, Monday to Friday.
