Senior Worker Case Management - Housing First

As an industry leader in this space, we do housing differently. Our Housing 1st program provides intensive support for people to access housing and help them prepare and sustain their tenancies. And we have a whole range of wrap around services to assist people.

We are looking for a Senior Worker to play a key role in leading the delivery of case management in our Housing First program for people who are experiencing, or at risk of, homelessness.

If you’re an experienced case manager with strong leadership and communication skills, and are flexible and quick to adapt to change, this could be the role for you.

About the job

  • Role location: Slacks Creek
  • Role type: Permanent full time position
  • Pay range: $102,883 a year based on experience, with salary packaging exempt from Fringe Benefits Tax available

In this role you will:

  • identify and respond to the changing needs of clients
  • identify ways to solve problems, improve service delivery and achieve better outcomes for clients
  • recommend changes to work practice and procedures in line with changes in external requirements
  • help to develop the capacity of the team in quality case management service delivery
  • contribute to the management of staff and to leading a positive workplace culture.

About you

Aside from meeting the key capabilities outlined in the related role description available from our careers page, you’ll be a great fit if you:

  • have knowledge and experience in case management service delivery in the homelessness and housing and youth sectors
  • understand the causes, impacts and cultural aspects of homelessness
  • can work with a sense of urgency and are quick to adapt to change
  • have great interpersonal skills and can manage, develop and support staff
  • are a strong communicator with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of people within and outside the organisation
  • are confident in undertaking service planning and making recommendations regarding improvements to service delivery.
