<p>The Australian Childhood Foundation has also developed a reputation for providing high quality education and training programs for a range of professionals on child abuse, trauma and related issues. It is also a Registered Training Organisation (TOID 22094) and the accredited training provided by the Foundation is rapidly expanding.</p>
<p>ACF has created a new operational division which brings together what has been traditionally identified as its Safeguarding Children Services and Professional Education Services. The new division will focus on integrating learning opportunities and capability functions at individual and organisational levels. It will create learning products and initiatives that mobilise knowledge in different formats making them accessible to a wide range of potential consumers. The working title of the new Division is Prevention, Capability and Impact Services. Further consultation with stakeholders will lead to the finalisation of the name of the new Division in the coming months.</p>
<h3>About the role:</h3>
<p>The Strategic Projects Consultant will be responsible for the planning, management, and implementation of various high-profile national, large, and/or complex projects relevant to the activities of the Safeguarding Children Service.</p>
<p>The Strategic Projects Consultant will work both autonomously and closely with the Divisional Leadership team to monitor and review the implementation of each project plan in line with identified strategic objectives and key milestones.</p>

<li>An appropriate tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline. Demonstrated experience in the end-to-end management of large, complex and sensitive projects.</li>

<p>The Australian Childhood Foundation (ACF) has a strong reputation for delivery of clinical services, professional training and secondary consultation programs built upon up to date and evidence and based upon theoretical frameworks including the neurobiology of trauma, attachment and relational theories and child development. This theoretical framework provides the foundation upon which all elements of care and intervention are provided by the therapeutic care programs.</p>
<p>ACF in partnership with the University of Tasmania is delivering a two-year project on behalf of the Tasmanian Department of Education (DoE) - &ldquo;Supporting Students Impacted by Trauma Professional Development Program&rdquo;.</p>
<p>This involves whole of system professional learning focusing on embedding the DoE&rsquo;s current strategy into Tasmanian schools. The approach is evidence-based strategies for generating culture change in schools and aligned with the Department&rsquo;s Vision, Model for Supporting Student Impacted by Trauma, Good Teaching Trauma Informed Guide, Respectful Schools, Respectful Behaviour, and will consider key departmental approaches, policies and procedures.</p>
<h3><strong>About the role</strong></h3>
<p>The Project Coordinator will lead the planning, development, implementation and delivery of the project, including providing regular project updates and risk mitigation strategies to the steering group.</p>
<p>The role will work with internal stakeholders and digital content creators to develop and deliver a modularised, online self-paced training course in trauma informed practice in education.</p>
<p>The role will work in close partnership with the University of Tasmania staff, other ACF Tasmanian staff and identified DoE personnel to implement effective mixed mode professional learning programs specifically relating to trauma informed practice in education settings.</p>
<p>The role will work both autonomously and closely with the broader ACF Division to continuously monitor and review the implementation of each part of the project in line with the identified strategic objectives and critical project milestones.</p>
<h3><strong>About you / Key Selection Criteria:</strong></h3>

<p>The Therapeutic Specialist position will carry a varied caseload across the range of therapeutic programs offered by the Foundation.
