<h3><strong>The role</strong></h3>
<p>Molonglo is looking for an experienced, compassionate, and proactive Case Manager for a fixed term of 12 months to cover maternity leave, with the possibility of extension or permanency. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Your Place Housing Support Service is a Specialist Homelessness Service providing support to individuals and families from a range of different situations who are experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. &nbsp;</p>
<p>Working from our Queanbeyan office, upstairs in the Corporate Suites at Riverside Plaza, no two days are the same. The work is interesting, challenging and rewarding especially when you realise what you have put into place changes the lives of the people you are serving.</p>
<h3><strong>A typical week</strong></h3>
<p>Provide client-focused case management to assist people who are experiencing social disadvantage using a strengths-based approach. Typically, your day includes:</p>
<ul>
<li>crisis intervention</li>
<li>preparation, implementation, and evaluation of case plans</li>
<li>practical and emotional support</li>
<li>coordination of services</li>
<li>networking and liaising with other agencies and services</li>
<li>writing case notes and administrative duties</li>
<li>assisting clients&rsquo; into independence</li>
<li>assisting with documentation</li>
<li>advocating for the client, family, and their children</li>
<li>visiting clients in their homes or at the office within Covid safe guidelines</li>
<li>assisting the Coordinator with bi-monthly and annual reports</li>
<li>assisting with immediate to long term accommodation options</li>
<li>supporting your colleagues</li>
<li>and from time to time you may organise and facilitate a focus group</li>
</ul>
<h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3>
<p><em>Desirable:&nbsp;</em></p>
<ul>
<li>A qualification in Community or Social Work or similar discipline;&nbsp;</li>
<li>A minimum 1 years&rsquo; experience in case management</li>
<li>Ability to work with vulnerable people using a strengths-based approach.</li>

<li>Drivers Licence</li>
<li>Completion of, or current, NSW Working with Children Check&nbsp;</li>
<li>National Police Check</li>

<li>Ability to build rapport with clients</li>
<li>Experience working in partnership with a range of internal and external stakeholders</li>
<li>Well-developed computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office programs particularly Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams and ability to adapt and learn internal IT systems&nbsp;</li>
<li>An awareness, understanding, and sensitivity to homelessness issues and the ability to communicate with a diverse range of people from various cultures</li>
<li>Ability to work calmly under pressure</li>
</ul>

<p>Molonglo Support Services are seeking a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Worker for the Monaro-Hume Women&rsquo;s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (M-H WDVCAS) - 35 hours per week. You will be employed under the SCHCADS&rsquo;s award Level 5.&nbsp; Molonglo pays 30-minute lunch breaks and PBI Salary Packaging is available.</p>
<p><strong>The Women&rsquo;s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service</strong> is a support service for Women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic and family violence. Our service assists women to obtain effective legal protection through applications for Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVOs) from NSW local courts. M-H WDVCAS is a frontline service that works collaboratively with NSW Police and other Community Service Partners to provide support to women and children.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>

Domestic & Family Violence Specialist Worker - Queanbeyan

<h3><strong>The role</strong></h3>
<p>This is an exciting opportunity for a team player with strong customer relationship and administration skills. If you have experience as a property manager, or in the social or community housing sector, or in public housing tenancy and would like to work part-time (25 hours per week) come and join our small dynamic team. &nbsp;</p>
<p>You will be managing a tenancy portfolio of 13 properties in Queanbeyan. In this technical role, you will be organised, good at problem-solving addressing day to day tenancy matters, and providing administrative functions that assist our clients to maintain their tenancies. &nbsp;</p>
<h3><strong>A typical week</strong></h3>
<p>Provide client-focused tenancy management services for people who are experiencing social disadvantage using a strengths-based approach.</p>
<p>Manage tenancy and maintenance issues whilst operating under the NSW Residential Tenancies Act.&nbsp;</p>
<p>Manage tenancy exits, tenancy sign up, rent collection and management of vacated arrears, rent reviews, reconciling rent payments, and maintenance &amp; asset management functions including undertaking routine property inspections.</p>
<p>Data entry into data management systems.</p>
<p>Attending weekly staff meetings.</p>
<h3><strong>Experience</strong></h3>

<li>A qualification in Tenancy, Community or Social Work or similar discipline.&nbsp;</li>
<li>A strong background (minimum 2 years) in property management, public/community housing.&nbsp;</li>
