<p>This is a newly established role due to current and expected growth within the organisation, the focus of this role will be to coordinate the development, implementation and monitoring of diversity and inclusion strategies and frameworks including components of Our Watch&rsquo;s intersectional strategy, Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) and cultural safety plans to ensure the achievement of diversity objectives. In addition, this role will partner with specific business units, their leadership and team members to provide a range of advice, support, and services across the full employee lifecycle.</p>

<p>Working within the newly established Innovation Directorate, this position will support the delivery of a project to develop a framework for the prevention of violence against women with disability. The role will support and contribute to the development of new and innovative knowledge, practices and strategies that build the evidence base for the organisation to continue its work in primary prevention of violence against women with disability.</p>
<p>Under the direction of the Project Lead and working closely with the Senior Policy Advisor, this role will support all aspects of the project management cycle from design, through to implementation and review. This role will support with project administration, documentation, reporting, evaluation and monitoring as needed. The project will have a strong focus on collaborating and partnering with organisations by and for women with disabilities.</p>
<p>You will ideally have experience in project management and some project budget experience, stakeholder engagement skills, and familiarity with the primary prevention of violence against women.</p>
<p><strong>Lived experience of disability and/or experience working on gender and disability programs is highly desirable.</strong></p>
<h3>About you</h3>
<p>You will be accountable for building strong and trusted relationships with key project partners, engaging, communicating and consulting withexternal stakeholders, and for identifying, managing and, where necessary, escalating emerging risks and urgent issues to the project lead.</p>
<p>You will develop and nurture effective collaborative relationships across the organisation and with key internal and external stakeholders including staff in government departments and agencies, and proactively contribute to the team and organisational improvement projects.</p>
<p>In particular, you will work closely and collaboratively with key stakeholders including Women with Disabilities Victoria (WDV) and the national peak body for women with disabilities, Women with Disabilities Australia (WWDA).</p>

<p>Within the Prevention In Action (PIA) directorate, the Prevention Quality, Support and Reach (PQSR) team supports and enables high quality, streamlined and efficient service delivery of the Prevention Implementation (PI) and Prevention Sector Engagement (PSE) teams. PQSR is a smart, collaborative and multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for ensuring the other teams have the tools and capabilities to deliver internal and external facing activities. It does this by supporting implementation planning and resource management, quality assurance and learning, digital capacity to support delivery, PIA practice development, marketing and communications support, and leads the directorate&rsquo;s approach to monitoring, evaluation and learning, including delivering on reporting and grant requirements. It is a point of coordination with the other Our Watch directorates.</p>
<p>PQSR has a broad range of expertise including prevention content, quality and learning, evaluation and monitoring, and setting up standardised approaches and systems to support a dynamic portfolio of work. PQSR leads on PIA&rsquo;s interim fee-for-service work and may be responsible for ongoing business development, post the establishment of the Our Watch Institute. PQSR leads on the implementation and development of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Framework.</p>
<p>The PIA MEL Framework is central to PIA&rsquo;s work. This Framework guides monitoring and evaluation of the work of PIA and learning building on these monitoring and evaluation processes. Reporting to the MEL lead, in this role you will be supporting the implementation and ongoing development of the MEL Framework.</p>
<h3>About you</h3>
<p>This role will require developing a sustainable MEL practice within PIA to support valuing and using evidence. You will have experiencing implementing and/or working with a MEL Framework, and have expertise and experience in the ongoing collection, collation, monitoring and analysis of data for reporting and tracking progress against identified outcomes/process indicators. You will have the capability to coordinate and use appropriate and feasible data collection and analysis methods for PIA MEL requirements, and to communicate the analysis to varied audiences. You will have experience or an interest in gender equality and preventing violence against women.</p>
<p>This position will work collaboratively with PQSR colleagues and develop and nurture effective relationships across the organisation as required, to support work on and continuous improvement of key organisational and directorate strategic and operational plans.</p>

<p>Working within the newly established Innovation Directorate, this important leadership role will be an integral part of the Innovation Leadership team and will be responsible for leading our approach to impact and evaluation across the Directorate and supporting our interactions in other teams across the organisation. This role will ensure we are building the evidence around Primary Prevention to accelerate Our Watch towards our long-term vision of stopping violence before it starts.</p>
<p>Reporting to the Director, Innovation this leadership role will be integral in the establishment phase of the Innovation Directorate and the Impact and Evaluation team. Key to success in this area will be fostering a culture of positive leadership, building and developing the Impact and Evaluation team, and developing new processes, systems and culture within the wider Directorate that enable the team to work effectively across disciplines and teams.</p>
<p>As a lead functional expert within the Innovation Directorate, the Manager, Impact and Evaluation will guide and support the approach to evaluation and, informed by the Evidence and Impact strategy. This role will lead on our approach, practice and guidance around project and campaign level evaluations across the organisation. The Impact and Evaluation team will provide information, assistance and advice to Project Managers and Project Leads across the organisation on all activities related to evaluation.</p>

Working from within the newly established Innovation Directorate, the Grants and Proposals Writer will work closely with senior leaders and team members from across the organisation to develop compelling proposals for a range of projects and audiences.</p>
<h3>About you</h3>
<p>You will have experience in the research, development and the preparation of successful grants, with an emphasis on working with government. Experience with foundations and the private sector will be an advantage. You will have highly developed communication skills, particularly in written communication and stakeholder engagement.</p>
