We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Practice Implementation Specialist to partner closely with our consortia, stakeholders and staff to support the ongoing implementation of the Goulburn and Brimbank Melton Putting Families First (PFF) Programs. Our successful candidate will lead the end-to-end process and lead &amp; deliver the new and innovative Putting Families First Program in the Brimbank/Melton area.
The Putting Families First (PFF) pilot program will intensively support families who come into contact with the Child Protection and/or Justice systems to enable sustained positive changes in their lives.
The current service system presents a range of challenges that make it difficult for families to overcome intergenerational and intrafamilial drivers of disadvantage and contact with the child protection and justice systems. This includes missed opportunities to intervene early, system barriers and a limited &lsquo;whole of family&rsquo; lens to providing services and addressing the needs of family members, and the family as a unit.
PFF will seek to address many of the challenges that currently limit the impact of services for these families. This proof of concept provides a unique opportunity to impact intergenerational and intrafamily drivers of disadvantage through addressing underlying system barriers that impact service effectiveness for families experiencing disadvantage. Addressing these barriers will then help enable practitioners to work with families to progress their holistic family goals and sustain improved health and wellbeing outcomes. In addition, it is hoped this innovative model of care will help shift system outcomes and avoid preventable future tertiary and justice service use.
The exciting consortium of OzChild, Youth Support and Advocacy Service (YSAS), Australian African Foundation for Retention and Opportunity (AAFRO), Charis Youth and Community, and the Victorian Aboriginal Child Care Agency (VACCA) has been chosen to lead and deliver the new and innovative PFF program in the Brimbank Melton area. OzChild are also part of the incredible Goulburn PFF consortium which is led by Rumbalara and includes our other partners The Bridge Youth Service and Family Care. The PFF partnership will seek to work with people from a diverse range of backgrounds including new, emerging, and established communities across the region. These consortia have come together with a shared vision of achieving better outcomes for young people and their families and in recognition and respect of each agency's breadth and depth of skills, knowledge, expertise and cultural match.
The OzChild and the consortium are committed to the delivery of what works for children, young people and families including evidenced based and/or informed models of intervention. The primary function of the Project Manager is to support PFF project delivery activities and undertake a key practice leadership role across the two consortia. The Project and Practice Lead will work closely with the PFF consortia to ensure practice is inclusive, timely and collaborative and client centred.

The Finance Business Partner is a new role designed to build financial management capability through a business partnering model, to improve financial sustainability to purposefully invest in the lives of children and young people
Reporting to the Senior Manager Finance &amp; Planning, you will be responsible for providing internal stakeholders with high quality financial analysis and accurate and timely visibility of financial performance to promote accountability and build financial management capability via a business partnering model.
You will lead the planning and development of the portfolio budget and forecast processes and be responsible for providing analysis and financial recommendations regarding the assessment of organisational projects, to achieve this it is considered critical that you will:

<li>Understand of complex funding models and services and the ability to account for and communicate those complexities in an understandable way to other stakeholders.</li>
<li>Build and maintain strong relationships with Directors, Program Managers, and their teams by meeting regularly with budget holders to assess financial performance and to provide financial management information, analysis and advice.</li>

Please be advised that this role is currently Work from Home but will eventually be returning to the office working Hybrid. Only candidates from Melbourne will be accepted as you will be required to attend meetings etc. and return to the office in the near future .

A casual role for someone looking for ad hoc shifts, the hours will vary, you will be called 1-2 weeks before planned leave, sick leave or when extra cover is needed at our Portland site.
<h3>The Role</h3>
As Business Support Officer, your role will be to provide effective and efficient administrative support to OzChild programs and its clients. This includes being the front desk point of contact, booking rooms, scheduling organisations use of the office, general administrative tasks, and general office management

<h3>To be successful in this role you will need to be able to:</h3>
<ul>
<li>Deliver high quality and timely administrative Business Support.</li>
<li>Booking and scheduling clients use of the office.</li>
<li>Have a high attention to detail and proven experience with implementing quality checking practices and checklists to improve outputs.</li>
<li>Have highly developed interpersonal communication and relationship management skills.</li>
<li>Have proven Microsoft Office skills at an intermediate level.</li>
<li>Have experience in the support and running of an office site and providing exceptional customer service.</li>
</ul>

<li>A part time casual role.</li>
<li>Working from our office in Portland, VIC.</li>
<li>Casual hours ranging from 1 day per week to 2 weeks cover (hours should be available monthly).</li>
<li>Flexibility to meet your availability.</li>
<li>Hourly rate is $34.90 plus 25% casual loading ($43.63 p/h).</li>
