Play2Learn+ is an early childhood school readiness program, which aims to improve child development and school engagement. In this key role, we need you to help implement and develop the program, making sure we maximise its impact. We're seeking an early childhood practitioner with a passion for assisting our communities' most vulnerable, at risk children and families to reach their full potential.

In this part-time permanent role (30.4 hours per week), you'll facilitate child-focused activities that support the emotional, physical and cognitive development of young children. Specifically, you will work with three- and four-year-olds and their families to ensure they meet their developmental milestones and make a successful transition to Kindergarten. Working across both Devonport and Launceston, you'll report to our Team Leader -Play2Learn+.

You're a highly flexible early childhood practitioner who is calm under pressure and loves to have a positive impact working with young children and their families. You have a deep understanding of the importance of the "early years" and child development, including experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma. Most importantly, you have a strong sense of empathy and an infectious enthusiasm for your job.
