In this full-time, permanent role, you'll travel between communities in the Gulf to contact and offer ongoing support to our men's behaviour change program participants' partners or ex-partners who have been identified as being impacted by their violence.
The role is ideally based out of Mount Isa or another Gulf location, travelling each week to work in Doomadgee, Mornington Island and/or Normanton.
You're an experienced practitioner who is extremely passionate about supporting victims and their families impacted by Domestic and Family Violence. Importantly, you have a good understanding of the behaviour change process in relation to DFV, including knowledge of the structure and content discussed in perpetrator intervention group programs.
It is a genuine requirement of this position that it be filled by a woman as permitted in sections 25, 104 and 105 of the Anti-Discrimination Act, 1991.
