We’re looking for a professional Database Manager- Fundraising with relevant experience who wants to join our 2,000+ team of staff and volunteers to make a difference on a permanent full-time basis, working 38 hours per week based in Fitzroy.

THE ROLE

The Marketing and Engagement division has responsibility for increasing support from the community and increasing our financial sustainability. The Database Manager position has three core components: Data analysis/business intelligence, Reporting and Database management.

  • Provide statistical and analytical reports including comparison statistics with previous years as required and requested
  • Act as the central administrator for the ThankQ database and central point of contact for internal stakeholders in relation to the fundraising data and the database
  • Identify ThankQ bugs and errors, and lodge tickets on ThankQ support portal to request assistance/fix

To be considered for the role and be successful in it, we’re looking for an who has the following key skills and experiences:

  • Relevant qualifications in Information Technology, Business, Administration or related field 
  • Prior people-manager experience 
  • Advanced data analytical skills
  • Demonstrated relevant experience in database management – preferably using the ThankQ system or other similar systems
  • Demonstrated relevant experience designing, developing, and producing database reports
  • Ability to interpret data, and translate to insights and recommendations
