Remote / Work from Home
Community Union Defence League is a not-for-profit organisation. Our priority is to build mutual aid networks around Australia where working people can help other struggling working people by developing essential programs that will help families and individuals being crushed by an unfair system designed for the rich.
We are now at an exciting stage where everything is happening, and we need motivated volunteers to support our development.
About the role: As a relatively new organisation here in Australia, securing donations, grants and sponsorships from governments, local businesses or larger companies is a crucial step for our growth. For this reason, we are looking for a highly motived and resilient volunteer ready to knock on the door, literally or virtually to every government/business/community group in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and elsewhere in Australia! This is a volunteer position. We expect that in order to fulfill the role properly it will require 8 to 12 hours a week of time. This time can be spread out according to the Volunteers requested schedule included there will be a 60 minutes check in per week.
Join a multicultural and highly motivated team. We work toward our goals, collaborating and exchanging ideas, we communicate in person, email and Signal. We are from all the different part of the Australia which makes our strength. We are flexible and we believe that we can make a difference.
