We are looking for a Data Coordinator for our Sydney office. The right candidate will be an all-rounder who loves providing support to the national team.

The Property Industry Foundation is an industry-wide collaboration across the property and construction industry to have an impact on youth homelessness. ‘We build homes for homeless youth’ and we are on track to build 300 bedrooms for homeless youth by 2025 in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

Who we are looking for

Reporting to the National CFO, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the Raiser’s Edge database including handing ongoing support requests and ensuring the system is maintained to high quality standards. Your key responsibilities will include donor liaison and customer service administration; processing and receipting gifts; developing data management processes; implementing segmentation and reporting; and managing the Foundation database. Your ability to make process and system recommendations for improvement will be highly regarded.

Role and responsibilities

  • Oversee daily imports of fundraising/donor data into the CRM database
  • Ensure all data selections are delivered on time and in full to agreed brief
  • Undertake data hygiene exercises
  • Process registrations, donations, appeals and surveys
  • Manage donor gift processing, receipting requirements and reporting
  • Highlight and advise on any issues of data irregularity or incomplete data capture
  • Ensure processes, procedures, process maps and specifications are up to date
  • Provide analysis and support for users' data requests and enquiries, and explain data concepts
  • Provide CRM reports to the business that identify trends, insights and learnings for future campaigns
  • Perform system administration functions, including configuring security settings, user profiles and custom fields
  • Support the ongoing development and maintenance of the Raiser’s Edge database
  • Manage and act as a key contact for the CRM database

Your skills

The successful candidate should have good experience in operations and administration ideally coupled with experience of working in not for profits, industry associations or fundraising organisations. The ideal candidate has:

  • Proven skills and experience with managing and maintaining CRM databases including reporting and financial payment/processing systems
  • Raiser’s Edge NXT CRM experience preferred
  • Exceptional customer service, relationship-oriented
  • Strong computer literacy with database systems and MS Office applications
  • Experience in the not-for-profit Charity sector would be highly advantageous
  • Ability to operate in a small team
