This role is based in one of three locations in Tasmania; Hobart, Launceston or Ulverstone, each in its own unique location to enjoy mountains, wilderness and beaches. They all offer culture, dining experiences in a relaxed and safe community setting. Short commutes to beaches, bushwalking and famous mountain biking trails make for the perfect work/life balance. So, if you want the perks of an inner-city lifestyle at a more relaxed pace, a move to Tasmania could be what you need! (Assistance with relocation may apply).
Primary Health Tasmania has a unique opportunity for an experienced procurement specialist to join our small but high performing team as a Lead – Procurement and Contracts. Our procurement team is part of our Business & Finance business unit servicing the requirements for both our corporate and program delivery teams.
We are not in the business of manufacturing, logistics or capital works and do not deliver direct clinical services. So, what makes this opportunity unique? We commission (strategically procure) services in primary health care, health system changes and improvements, small grants programs, and more. We are also expanding into new ways of working with the introduction of our Business Process Management Office (BPMO).
The BPMO includes rolling out our new Business Management Centre which is leading the way to automate business processes at Primary Health Tasmania starting with procurement and contracting. This is a growth area for this team as we continue strengthening and enhancing high quality procurement and contracting process outcomes.
If you value:
