Aboriginal OOHC Team Leader - Wollongong

Our Client is a not for profit organisation that aims to embeds quality in all their services to improve outcomes for vulnerable children and families is looking for a reliable, ethical and fair leader. The Manager will lead an established OOHC team in Western Sydney and provide strategic change within the Permanency Support Program.

This role will involve;

  • Leading a multidisciplinary team of caseworkers
  • Provide strategic direction and planning for services that align with Permanency Support Standards
  • Leading stakeholder relationships internal and externally to continue engagement of clients
  • Lead the quality and compliance of services provided
  • Oversee budgeting and expenditure for services within your program and ensure ongoing financial viability
  • Working collaboratively with Preservation and Restoration services

The requirements for this role include;

  • A minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy or relevant discipline
  • Thorough knowledge in PSP and embedding practice to improve outcomes
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution and mediation skills
  • Knowledge in Child Protection legislation
