ABOUT THE ROLE

The Education & Training Project Support Officer will provide support to the Director of Education and Training in administration including inquiries, pipeline, project functioning, IT support, training scheduling and general administration as directed by the Director of Education and Training.

Under the direction of the Director of Education and Training, you will organise training schedules, documents, training material and databases, both physically and electronically, so they are readily available to Director and Consultants. You play a key role in supporting the learning and development programs, and contribute to ABSTARR team’s vision, values and growth. A key part of this role will be to assist the trainers, education experts and online web development personnel.

You Have

To be an effective Education and Training Project Support Officer partnering with ABSTARR Consulting, you have:

  • Excellent organisational abilities
  • Experience in Project and Administration Officer roles
  • Maturity in acumen and judgement
  • Record and document management experience and skill
  • Attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to view a problem from different angles and initiate solutions
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and take initiative
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration capabilities
  • Practical skill in Microsoft Office products
  • Demonstrated experience working and knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples, cultures and communities
  • Willingness and ability to learn some content of various projects rapidly
  • Ability to travel and to work out of standard hours
