About the Role

Elevate is a government funded program that aims to boost women in STEM by awarding up to 500 undergraduate and postgraduate scholarships to women in STEM to propel women into senior leadership roles.

The Project Manager role supports, influences and coordinates the development and implementation of a range of activities and initiatives to enable the successful delivery of the program, including development of project plans, consulting to identify key project milestones, monitoring of program delivery and regular reporting against expected and actual outcomes, as well as undertaking research and analysis to identify trends and write reports to inform planning and decisions.

A collaborative work style is essential, as the position works closely with ATSE staff, stakeholders, and industry partners.

This is a full-time role.

Experience and Skills for Success

  • Proven experience (3-5 years) in project management with strong organisational and strategic planning skills, and monitoring project budgets
  • Experience supporting the review, development, implementation and administration of projects and grants, with knowledge of decision processes and probity requirements
  • Experience and ability to assist with the establishments of frameworks to satisfy grant reporting requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with a broad range of stakeholders and internal staff to foster strong collaborative relationships
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Understanding of the challenges of Women in STEM
  • Experience or understanding of or experience working with Learned Academies would be well regarded
