Ending homelessness is possible, but it is a shared responsibility and requires a collaborative effort across all levels of government and society to ensure we have adequate housing, appropriate health services and support services available to those who need it the most.
We are seeking a Local Community Coordinator to work closely with the WA Advance to Zero Team and local community partners in an effort to advance to zero homelessness in the Bunbury community. Ending homelessness requires a whole of society approach and one of the key responsibilities of this position will include identifying, maintaining, and managing relationships with government, organisations, services, and individuals.
Demonstrating professionalism, proactivity and accountability, the Local Community Coordinator will provide direction to the Bunbury Advance to Zero community, supporting them to make decisions and problem solve.
This role will be closely supported by the WA Alliance to End Homelessness, who will provide coaching and training to support the Local Community Coordinator to succeed.
If you have the energy, the drive, an open mind, and an open heart, and are ready to make a real difference in people’s lives, we’d love to hear from you.
This position is 0.8FTE with flexibility regarding days and hours. The contract ends in December 2025 with the possibility of extension.
