The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position

Join our Communications and Brand Strategy team and contribute to the accuracy and accessibility of College documents and publications. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual with basic editing skills who thrives in a structured, process-driven environment.

In this role, you will be responsible for updating College policies and publications, ensuring they meet regulatory and governance requirements. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to coordinate approvals, maintain version control, and ensure content is published correctly across various platforms. Additionally, you may be asked to support the team with basic design tasks, including formatting documents in Adobe InDesign, refining website content.

We are seeking someone with experience in content management systems (Kentico knowledge is highly regarded) and proficiency in Adobe InDesign. A background in sub-editing, communications, or publishing would be advantageous. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively are essential for success in this role.
