The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand.

The Position

We have a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly organised Human Resources Administration Officer to join our small close-knit team in a true generalist role. Reporting to the Manager, Human Resources, you will play an integral role in providing timely and accurate HR administrative support across a wide range of HR functions enabling you to develop and expand on your HR capabilities

This role would ideally suit an experienced HR graduate or a HR professional who enjoys variety and administrative work. To be successful in this role, you are self-motivated, have exceptional attention to detail, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment to meet ongoing and sometimes shifting deadlines and priorities. The focus of this broad administration role is around recruitment, onboarding and general HR admin that includes wellbeing and engagement initiatives.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills will allow you to liaise with internal and external stakeholders in a professional and confidential manner.You will also possess the ability to work autonomously and as a collaborative team member, have strong written and verbal skills and be proficient in using Microsoft Office applications and other relevant programs. As the College is bi-national, you must also have excellent understanding of industrial relations frameworks and legislation in Australia and New Zealand.
