The Position

We are recruiting a Training Coordinator to lead a team of two while facilitating the day-to-day administration involved in the delivery of the College’s Emergency Medicine Certificate, Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs. Please note that this is a permanent/full-time position based in Melbourne, Australia.

The key responsibilities of the role shall include, but not be limited to:

  • Provision of expert advice to enquiries from key stakeholders such as prospective and enrolled trainees, supervisors, training sites and Program Support Officers (PSO) in relation to Emergency Medicine Certificate and Diploma (EMCD) matters.
  • The preparation of discussion papers and reports for EMCD-related matters to relevant College entities including, but not limited to, the EMCD Committee.
  • Arrange and deliver the EMCD Workshop, PSO Training Days and other relevant workshops as required and participate and assist with the delivery of relevant network meetings.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of the Training Program policies, procedures, website, handbooks and other training-related communication media.

Paired with a tertiary qualification or the equivalent relevant work experience, our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to lead and manage an administrative service-orientated team in addition to well-developed oral and written communication skills.
