The Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM) is a not-for-profit organisation responsible for the training, assessment and continuing professional development of emergency physicians as well as the advancement of professional standards in emergency medicine in Australia and New Zealand.

The Position

This is an integral role, providing administrative support to the Diploma of Pre-hospital and Retrieval Medicine (PHRM).

We are seeking a highly collaborative and self-motivated individual able to respond to enquiries from multiple stakeholders such as current and prospective trainees, Training Supervisors, DipPHRM Assessors and accredited training sites. Ideally our successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, be flexible to adapt to a growing and evolving training program and take initiative with a keen eye for process development. Duties will include administering existing processes and procedures, such as enrolment of trainees and approval of Training Supervisors.

Ideally you will have an interest in and the ability to grasp issues relating to emergency medicine as well as highly developed:

  • Verbal and written communication skills, particularly in regard to report writing and correspondence.
  • Planning, time management and organisational skills.
  • Aptitude and knowledge of Information and Communication Technology, including learning management systems.

Please note this is a part-time 0.6, permanent opportunity.
