When it comes to our environment, the Australian Conservation Foundation has been leading the way in protecting our living world for over half a century.
We are the national environment organisation committed to caring for Australia’s unique and beautiful wildlife and natural world. We’re inclusive, non-partisan and funded by the Australian community.
Whether it’s advocating for the Great Barrier Reef, koalas snoozing in big old trees or for strong climate action, our dedicated community of over 700,000 supporters are constantly working to create a world where forests, rivers, people, and wildlife thrive.
Due to the imminent arrival of a baby and an internal promotion we are looking for a fantastic fundraising professional to join our team in July 2022 and focus on developing and executing our exciting new Direct Response Television (DRTV) acquisition program to grow donors and long-term income. This is an amazing opportunity to lead this project from concept to creation which is brand new to ACF.
With the support of the Regular Giving Officer, you’ll also be responsible for managing ongoing programs to recruit, retain, and develop donors who support the EarthVoice monthly giving program. You’re self-motivated and can demonstrate high levels of initiative, autonomy, and accountability. Having previous experience and success in a regular giving, individual giving or direct marketing role, you understand what it takes to recruit, inspire and retain regular giving donors.
You have experience developing and delivering successful digital acquisition programs with large budgets, and bonus points if you have experience rolling out a DRTV program.
You love working with people and pulling together all the pieces to produce fundraising campaigns that get people talking, and you get a buzz from working collaboratively with stakeholders on new and innovative projects.
You know how to inspire people through storytelling to join a community of generous people giving monthly to have the greatest impact on nature and wildlife. Additionally, you love nature and you’re excited to bring your skills and experience to support the amazing work ACF is doing to change the story, build people power and fix the system so we can keep on enjoying life in this beautiful country.
You’ll do important work with one of Australia’s most impactful organisations, and with our world-class organisational culture and great team, we guarantee you’ll have fun along the way.
