The Role 

Are you wanting to gain work experience in a not-for-profit supporting a Digital Transformation Project? This is an exciting short-term opportunity to support data functions at the Australian Council for International Development (ACFID).

Australia’s peak body for NGOs involved in international development and humanitarian action seeks a candidate to start immediately to fill a short-term vacancy until 30 June 2021. The Data Support Officer will work on the Digital Transformation Project (migration to Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM). The role will support the project’s data management functions to ensure the accuracy of the data that will be migrated to the new CRM. The position will be responsible for data verification, data entry and other data administration tasks on a need basis for the project. The role requires the Data Support Office to work with accuracy and navigate different spreadsheets and platforms to complete datasets.

The successful candidate will be a motivated individual with a willingness to learn. The role is well suited to a student or recent graduate that would like to gain work experience in a not-for-profit organisation or someone with experience seeking a temporary part-time role. The successful candidate will have experience working with Excel (at least intermediate level is desirable). They will have an excellent attention to detail and good computer literacy. They will have a can-do attitude and the ability to take initiative and be flexible in a fast-paced and changing environment.
