About the role

The Service Coordinator role will coordinate services and lead practice at a site level, providing supervision, on the ground role-modelling, coaching and support for staff as well as supports to the clients.

Reporting to the Service Manager, this role closely oversees client plans to create an empowering and enabling environment for people with disabilities and maximise opportunities for the attainment of personal goals and lifestyles. Through effective leadership, this role will support staff to meet the needs outlined and provide active support.

About you

  • Relevant qualifications (minimum Cert IV in Disability or Individual Support) or equivalent experience in disability support;
  • Demonstrated understanding of NDIS, principles of Active support and human rights-based approach to service delivery;
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
  • Experience managing and supervising staff and client outcomes in multiple accommodation settings;
  • Proficient Computer literacy - able to easily learn and use MS Office Suite and online systems;
  • Practical experience in achieving community inclusion and ensuring services maintain appropriate
