About the role

Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, the Marketing and Communications Manager will deliver the communication strategy for ACSO. The role will provide expert advice and support in internal and external digital and written communication that engages our people and external stakeholders.

You will be responsible for managing and updating the ACSO Intranet site and ACSO website. You will also lead ACSO's social media platforms and develop content for these sites to promote ACSO services. You will work closely and collaboratively with the Executive team including CEO and leadership team. You will research, coordinate and prepare high-quality content for a range of channels including: mainstream media, social media, e-newsletters, website, internal communications, and stakeholder forums.

What we're looking for

  • Tertiary qualifications in communications, public relations, digital communications, journalism or marketing
  • Strong demonstrated experience in content management
  • Understanding of digital, online, social media and multimedia channels in marketing communications
  • Experience using Plain English
  • Experience workings will all levels of management and a range of people with ease
  • Strong writing skills, attention to detail and ability to bring content to life and get your message across creatively
  • Innovative and creative in marketing communication
  • Experience and comfort in communicating via various mediums
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Photography skills, graphic design and video editing skills are desirable

What ACSO can offer you

  • Full time, fixed term position available until 30 June 2023.
  • Flexible location - VIC (Richmond, Dandenong, Bendigo, Ballarat, Shepparton, Traralgon), NSW (Corrimal), QLD (Brisbane)
  • $90,400 base salary + 9.5 % superannuation ($99,000 approx. package) + NFP salary packaging options (more after tax $ in your pocket!)
