Tenancy Officer

Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO)

At McCormack Housing, we look for people who believe in second chances, who share our values and are passionate about supporting forensic clients to re integrate back into the community. If this sounds like you, read on!

About Us

McCormack Housing (MH) was established by its parent company Australian Community Support Organisation (ACSO) which was established in 1983 as the Epistle Centre, by ex-offender Stan McCormack to support prisoners to find housing, employment and to stop their offending behaviour. Over 30 years ACSO has grown and diversified to provide life changing support programs for people in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system.

McCormack Housing provides sustainable social housing prioritising people in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system to break the cycle between homelessness and offending. In 2014 ACSO's Board created a new company to build a social housing response for people in or at risk of entering the criminal justice system. These individuals are at a higher risk of homelessness due to the additional barrier of their forensic background and poor rental histories. MH directly supports ACSO's Vision - "to build a safe and inclusive community freed of crime and prison".
