ACT Shelter is seeking a person with experience and qualifications for the position of Policy and Research Coordinator:

  • 0.8 FTE (30 hours per week) ongoing (subject to funding after three years)
  • ACT MEA Award level 6.1-6.3 plus superannuation
  • Start ASAP

As part of a small team, and under the leadership of the Chief Executive Officer, we are seeking an experienced policy and research analyst to write position papers, reports and submissions on housing policy and related matters. Developed in consultation with our members and stakeholders, your work will directly inform ACT Shelter’s communications, lobbying, strategic advice provision and systemic advocacy.

Qualifications: Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in social science or related discipline(s).

Experience: Relevant experience in policy analysis or writing and systemic advocacy; knowledge of housing policy or demonstrated ability to acquire this knowledge.
