ADAQ is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified persons to join its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

ADAQ is the peak professional body for dentistry is Queensland. Our mission is to support the profession through advocacy and the provision of services and education, and the promotion of oral health for all Queenslanders.

Applying for the role

The following selection criteria apply:

• A commitment to work within the mission and values of ADAQ.
• Previous governance experience, including the ability to operate strategically and engage stakeholders.
• Superior communication and effective meeting skills.
• A genuine passion to contribute to the growth and sustainability of the organisation.
• Specific experience in any of the following, would be highly regarded:
  • Governance
  • Risk management
  • Finance and accounting
  • Not-for-profit management

In addition, the successful applicant must be eligible to hold the position of Director under the Corporations Act (2001).

This is a non-paid role. ADAQ Directors may be reimbursed for business related out of pocket expenses. Board meetings are held approximately every third month and sub-committee meetings as required.
