The role will manage a caseload of Plan Management clients and assist in entry and exit procedures for clients to and from the NDIS Plan Management program. The NDIS Plan Manager will communicate with clients regularly and support clients to understand and use their NDIS plan funding according to their NDIS goals. The NDIS Plan Manager will receive and check client invoices for processing, finalise invoices in a timely manner for monthly Plan Management client statements. Maintain electronic plan management records in accordance with NDIS Standards, rules and Code of Conduct.

The NDIS Plan Manager will Monitor individual client plan budgets to identify irregular activity, take the necessary actions to investigate and rectify such activity, and assist in the transition between old and new NDIS plans.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Create and maintain service bookings in the NDIS Portal / PACE / PACE / PACE for Plan Management clients.
  • Coordinate Plan Management client entry and exit procedures to/from the program.
  • Assist in monitoring the ADEC Plan Management email address, approve and submit required claims for manual and bulk payment into the NDIS Portal / PACE which are classified as complex.
  • Maintain electronic plan management records in accordance with NDIS Standards, NDIS Rules and NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • Maintain an up-to-date Master List of all plan management clients and collect data on exiting clients.
  • Liaise with ADEC Finance Department to ensure all invoices are paid in a timely manner.
  • Liaise with providers regarding invoice queries or payment enquiries.
  • Facilitate clients’ transition to another Plan Management provider if requested.
  • Market ADEC’s NDIS Plan Management unit in coordination with the ADEC Marketing team to increase participant numbers in the program to the highest sustainable level.
  • Oversee the client management including communication, interaction, budgets and fund availability.
  • Ensure client monthly statements are accurate and generated for distribution to clients in a timely manner.
  • Support capacity building in the areas of service agreements, plan implementation, MyPlace portal / PACE, funding usage, plan goals, disability service consumer rights and freedom of choice.
  • Record and manage any complaints or feedback in relation to the NDIS Plan Management program.
  • Record and manage any reportable incidents using the appropriate incident management system.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with relevant service providers and Government departments.
  • Ensure the program meets NDIS Standards, NDIS Rules and NDIS Code of Conduct.
  • Ensure program staff adhere to appropriate policies, systems and procedures.
  • Seek and maintain up to date industry knowledge including participation in relevant networks and Communities of Practice.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and privacy of people supported by ADEC is protected by the program.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of management of client funds including monitoring and reporting any fraudulent
  • behaviour.
  • Undertake specific tasks as directed by the Disability, Advocacy and Support Programs General Manager.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must have clear NDIS Worker Screening Check.
  • Must have clear National Police Check.
  • Must have valid Working With Children Check.
  • Must hold a current Victorian Driver’s License.
  • Must have evidence of right to work in Australia.
