Advantage Support Service Pty Ltd are seeking an experienced and qualified specialist support worker to join our team in the Adelaide metro and southern Areas.

The desired person will need to show the ability to communicate with a multi-disciplinary team and work with other support workers and therapists to help children, adults and their families.

The person will need to show they are physically capable to carry out a wide range of social, sporting and education play activities and have a true passion and drive for the people they work with to help enhance, maintain, and encourage the people to reach their personal goals.

You will need to have the following mandatory requirements:

• Full driver licence, reliable car and comprehensive car insurance
• Cert III or Cert IV in individual disability support or Equivalent
• Senior First Aid Certificate
• Manual Handling
• PEG and PEJ experience and competency that can be signed off by a RN Delegate
• DCSI Clearances, Working with Children
• Safe Place Training or willingness to attend
• Sound knowledge of working with children with complex physical and cognitive disabilities
• Seizure Management
