Position Summary:

As our Senior Social Worker, you will be at the forefront, leading a dedicated team and ensuring our clients receive the comprehensive support they need. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on complex case management, innovative program development and community engagement.

What You Will Do:

Lead with Passion: Mentor and guide our multidisciplinary team of social workers and community development worker, fostering professional growth and excellence.

Support with Expertise: Provide advanced support to clients, including crisis intervention and specialised counselling.

Innovate and Implement: Design and roll-out programs that address the unique social needs of our clients.

Collaborate and Connect: Work hand-in-hand with legal staff and external agencies to enhance service delivery.

Engage and Advocate: Lead community outreach initiatives and advocate for social justice.

Document with Precision: Ensure thorough and confidential documentation of client interactions and program activities.

What We Are Looking For:

A tertiary qualification in Social Work.

Registration with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).

Considerable experience in a senior capacity.

An understanding of the intersection between social issues and the legal system.

Exceptional communication and organisational skills.
