Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute is an independent, internationally renowned medical research facility. Our work extends from the laboratory to wide-scale community studies with a focus on diagnosis, prevention and treatment of diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
The Alfred Research Alliance (formerly AMREP) is a collaborative partnership between Alfred Health, Monash University, Baker Heart and Diabetes Institute, Burnet Institute, La Trobe University and Deakin University at the Alfred Precinct in Melbourne. The Alliance brings together more than 8,000 health professionals, researchers and support staff, providing a collaborative environment to integrate medical research with education and healthcare.
An exciting new opportunity is available for an experienced administrator to join the Baker Institute as an Animal Ethics Administrator. The Animal Ethics Administrator will be responsible for managing the administrative requirements for the Alliance Animal Ethics Committees (AECs), including organising meetings and preparing agendas, minutes, correspondence, and reports.
