We are excited to offer experienced professionals the opportunity to join AEIOU in the critical role of Occupational Therapist

The position:

This is an exciting opportunity to support children with autism aged 2 - 6 years, in developing specific skills, social skills and mealtime management.

You will join a transdisciplinary team of peers in Behaviour TherapySpeech Therapy and Early Education. This is a special role to work with our wonderful children and develop your skills in the field of autism-specific early intervention. You will see everyday the difference you make.

Utilising your skills as an Occupational Therapist with the principles of Behaviour Analysis (which we help you develop) you will create and implement intervention programs that assist our children to enhance their independence and quality of life.

About you:

  • You are a passionate Occupational Therapist seeking a purposeful and meaningful vocation to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism.
  • You are equipped with a Bachelor in Occupational Therapy
  • You have a current AHPRA registration.
  • Autism-specific experience is desirable, however we will also provide you training and support within the framework of this role.
  • Hold a current Blue Card

Note: If you do not hold a current ‘Paid Employee Blue Card’ you will need to apply for and have approved a combined NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and Employee Blue Card before you can commence employment).

What we do for you:

  • Salary ranges from $70K to $96K pro rata (inclusive of fortnightly retention bonus) plus super  (salary is negotiated based on qualifications and experience)
