We are excited to offer experienced professionals the opportunity to join AEIOU in the critical role of Speech Pathologist.

The position:

  • Locations available Adelaide, Brisbane, Canberra, Gold Coast (Arundel), Logan, and Townsville

This is an exciting opportunity to support children with autism aged 2 - 6 years, in developing specific expressive and receptive language skills, social skills and mealtime management.

You will join a transdisciplinary team of peers in Behaviour Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Early Education. This is a special role to work with our wonderful children and utilising your skills as a Speech Pathologist with the principles of Behaviour Analysis (which we help you develop), you will create and implement early intervention programs that assist our children to enhance their independence and quality of life.

About you:

  • You are a passionate Speech Pathologist seeking a purposeful and meaningful vocation to make a significant difference in the lives of children with autism.
  • You are equipped with a Bachelor in Speech Pathology and hold a current Speech Pathology Australia membership.
  • Autism-specific experience is desirable; however, we will also provide you training and support within the framework of this role.
  • Hold a current Blue Card

Note: If you do not hold a current ‘Paid Employee Blue Card’ you will need to apply for and have an approved a combined NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance and Employee Blue Card before you can commence employment).

What we do for you:

  • Salary ranges from $70K to $96K (inclusive of fortnightly retention bonus) plus super (salary is negotiated based on qualifications and experience)
