The Australian Federation of AIDS Organisations (AFAO) is seeking applications for the position of Senior Monitoring, Evaluation, Research and Learning (MERL) Specialist for the Sustainability of HIV Services for Key Populations in Asia (SKPA) Program.

SKPA-2 is a three-year, USD$12.5m program funded by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria for the period 1 July 2022 to 30 June 2025. The program follows from and significantly extends the successful SKPA-1 program, which will be completed by June 30, 2022. AFAO is the Principal Recipient. SKPA-2 aims to improve the sustainability of evidence-informed, prioritised HIV services for key populations in Bhutan, Mongolia, Philippines, and Sri Lanka. AFAO leads Australia’s community response to HIV and contributes to action on HIV globally and in Asia and the Pacific.

The successful applicant for this position will understand and have a commitment to community-led action on HIV and issues affecting key populations.

The preferred location for this position is in Bangkok, Thailand. Being based outside of Thailand will be considered, depending on circumstances. An attractive remuneration and benefits package will be negotiated based on skills and experience. Relocation assistance is available for successful international candidates.
