About the opportunity

With our ongoing expansion, we are looking for experienced community Support Workers / Lifestyle Assistants to assist in our factory and offer 1:1 support work.

The successful candidate will be a part of an innovative, passionate not for profit organisation, whose primary focus is to support people with disabilities to lead exception, joy filled lives. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Provide high quality daily client support.
• Process and provide information and administration support.
• Comply with NDIS requirements related to client supports.
• Communicate and establish effective and professional relationships.
• Effectively contribute to site and asset maintenance.
• Ensure all Afford policies and procedures including WH&S are adhered to.
• Other duties as directed by the Team Leader.

About the candidate

We are looking for Lifestyle Assistants who are as focused on supporting people with disabilities to lead exceptional, joy filled lives as much as we are! You will also need the following;

• Must have experience with high/ challenging behaviours
• A current First Aid Certificate and Working with Children Check 
• Current Australian driver's license and own vehicle
• Able to address triggers and redirect 
• Can work in 1:1 capacity 
• 3-days a week guaranteed
