Our factory employs close to 400 supported staff across five different sites. We have a range of business services, from packaging solutions to bundle wrapping and even bulk mail-out. About the opportunity

We are currently seeking a motivated individual to take on the Factory Manager role at our Prestons ADE. 

The purpose of this role is to oversee the total operational success of this factory. 

About You

  • Factory Management including workforce and production management.
  • Manage Factory staff including all informal disciplinary matters and grievances. Ensure effective communication with all Factory staff and celebrate success.
  • Assist in the preparation operational budgets and audits ensuring we maintain our HACCP, ISO9001 & Bond Register requirements
  • Ensure continued compliance of the service outlet within the Disability Service Standards Quality Assurance framework.
  • Ensure a safe and Healthy workplace by implementing and adhering to all Afford WHS policies and procedures.
  • Ongoing communication with all Team members through
  • Overseeing training and development of Staff and Supported Employees within the business.
  • Maintaining compliance in regards to NDIS support requirements

Key Responsibilities

Skills and Experience

  • At least 18 Months Experience within a manufacturing or FMCG environment.
  • Effective people management skills.
  • Good communication skill
  • Strong Planning and scheduling skills
