Long established in providing family support services, Aboriginal Family Support Services (AFSS) is at the forefront of supporting Aboriginal families and communities across South Australia.
As the Manager, you will manage AFSS Community Safety & Wellbeing, New Dreams and Staying Safe teams. This includes full responsibility for the engagement of employees in the 3 program areas and guiding and supporting them to excel in their work, to work respectfully with all clients and to achieve positive client outcomes in line with Service Agreements. The Manager is also responsible for employee compliance, supervision, performance appraisal and management, budgets and expenditure.
You will be a leader (with proven management experience) and be passionate about supporting and improving the lives Aboriginal families and communities across South Australia. You will have a good understanding of trauma, intergenerational grief and the impact that this has on many Aboriginal families and communities. You will be able to manage a diverse range of programs (and the employees who work within the programs) with a strong focus on healing for client groups.
