Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you will lead community fundraising and events and coordinate direct mail, telemarketing and acquisition campaigns. This varied, vital and interesting role will work closely with the Fundraising & Marketing team to implement strategies to engage, acquire and steward donors to support The Alfred Foundation.
You will be a self-motivated fundraiser and team player and problem solver with initiative, attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines. A broad understanding of fundraising is essential, along with a collaborative team approach, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills to engage volunteers and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM databases is essential, and FIA Certificate or Diploma in Fundraising is highly regarded.

The position has broad responsibilities for implementing fundraising activities in line with The Alfred Foundation’s strategy. This includes, helping coordinate a multi-channel approach to mass market giving, as well as a focus on community programs, co-ordinating special events and working with community groups to achieve their fundraising targets. In particular this role will support growth in regular giving and cash giving through channels including, direct mail, telemarketing, face to face and online.
