The role:

Reporting to the Head of People & Culture (P&C) this is a full time, ongoing role with leadership responsibility for the P&C Coordinator. You would have flexibility to work from our South Melbourne office and/or to work from home.

You would be responsible for:

  • Providing advice and support to People Leaders on all aspects of the recruitment process.
  • Leading onboarding processes, including maintaining accurate staff records.
  • Preparing contracts and letters on conditions of employment.
  • Leading P&C policy reviewing and updating.
  • Ensuring all staff comply with mandatory requirements such as Working With Children Checks and Criminal Record Checks.

Knowledge, Experience & Requirements:

  • A minimum of 7 years' experience in the Human Resources field (mandatory).
  • A qualification in Human Resources or equivalent (desirable).
  • Significant experience in recruitment, either with an organisation or an agency (mandatory).
  • Significant experience in using tracking and reporting systems in the HR field, with enthusiasm for process improvement (mandatory).
  • Experience leading a small team of staff or volunteers (mandatory).
