The Data Insights & Analytics team leads AI Australia’s data management, reporting and insights to ensure Amnesty remains Australia’s leading human rights organisation and attracts, engages and retains supporters to maximise the organisation’s human rights impact. This is an exciting 12 month, full-time opportunity to join our Supporter Engagement Unit as part of our dynamic Data Insights & Analytics team. The salary for this position is $103,520 per annum plus 10.5% super.

AI Australia relies on good quality data to inform our human rights campaigning, movement building and fundraising work. This role will lead the review and refresh of knowledge and training resources for Amnesty’s Data Insights and Analytics (DIA) team. Focusing on audit and documenting processes and workflows, the Business Systems Analyst will work with stakeholders in the team and across Amnesty to build strong, fit-for-purpose knowledge management and training. The Business Systems Analyst will also collaborate and support colleagues in the DIA team on projects and activities as required.

This role is responsible for:

  • Developing a robust knowledge base for the DIA team including:
    • Design, configure and implement the ongoing infrastructure and processes for the knowledge base
    • Work with DIA team members and other stakeholders to audit and document key processes
    • Provide recommendations and insights during this project regarding improvements, challenges and opportunities to review and refresh
  • Developing a robust set of training modules by:
    • Working closely with DIA team members and other internal stakeholders to design, configure and implement infrastructure to support existing and ongoing training needs
    • Working closely with the Database Specialist to implement a robust onboarding and offboarding process for users
    • Determining training needs of the organisation
    • Working closely with the Database Specialist to develop a set of training modules to meet stakeholder needs including; basic training for new users, advanced training, role-specific training, refresher training

Selection Criteria:

  1. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of information management principles and concepts, with a strong focus on document management.
  2. Highly developed verbal and interpersonal communication skills, including ability to formulate and present training programs.
  3. Highly developed analytical, conceptual and research skills, including the ability to devise creative and effective solutions to complex problems in a large and complex business environment.
  4. Demonstrated ability to plan and coordinate activities, work independently and cooperatively with others within a team environment.
