This is an exciting opportunity to join our Story and Content team! The Story and Content team leads Amnesty’s digital program and produces content that demonstrates Amnesty’s impact and engages supporters in campaigns to achieve real human rights wins. Due to an internal promotion, we have a fixed term opportunity to commence ASAP until March 2023 with the possibility of extension.

Our Story & Content Producer is responsible ensures Amnesty’s communications through the email channel are creative, innovative and puts people with lived experience at the centre of Amnesty’s campaign storytelling. This role will also work to plan, collaborate and develop email journeys that engage, retain and motivate supporters. This is a great opportunity to make a valued contribution to digital storytelling, supporter experience and human rights impact with Amnesty International Australia.

You will be responsible for:

  • Working closely with the Story, Content and Engagement Lead develop, deliver and continually optimise Amnesty’s email strategy
  • Responsible for the ongoing management of the email program, including:
  • ongoing management of campaign emails from development to execution
  • driving innovation and continually optimising the email channel to improve supporter experience, ensuring best practice principles are followed
  • providing audience targeting and segmentation advice to stakeholders
  • building and optimising campaign petition pages
  • troubleshooting issues and managing relationships with vendors
  • monitoring and achieving email KPIs
  • reporting and analytics including A/B testing
  • Training and coaching of key staff and supporters across the organisation to build engagement and email competencies
  • Ensure the dignity and interests of rights holders and those with lived experience are protected and central in AIA communications
  • Performing the role to a high standard within agreed timelines, and in line with AIA’s vision
  • Other tasks within your skills and competence as required
