And on that note…we're looking for a Senior Carer Practitioner to join our team! In this role, you will provide ongoing support services to carers to ensure they are able to provide quality therapeutic care for children and young people. This will include the delivery of psychoeducation and specialised carer training and mentoring. You will also work closely with the case management team to ensure an integrated service delivery model, which incorporates the Sanctuary Model framework.

What will you need?

  • Bachelor degree in psychology, social work or a related discipline
  • Current registration in the Step by Step (SbS) 2016 Assessment tool (Desirable)
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in undertaking complex family or carer assessments
  • Practice skills and experience in working with carers or families in a trauma informed way, including those from an Aboriginal or Culturally and Linguistically Diverse background

The base salary for this position is $84,844 - $88,692 plus 10% employer superannuation guarantee. But at the end of your day, your greatest reward will come from knowing that you have left a footprint of your own, on the road to a better world.
