Who are we looking for?

We are seeking enthusiastic early childhood educators who have a genuine passion for working with and supporting young children aged between 6 weeks and 6 years old to reach their potential. You will have a genuine passion for working with young children aged 6 weeks to 6 years old and call upon your experience with children living with a disability to provide quality care, education and support to children attending AnglicareSA child care centres.

What can you expect to be doing?

  • Provide quality care, education and support to children attending AnglicareSA’s Daphne St Child Care Centre and Autism Specific Early Learning Centre (ASELCC).
  • Work in a strong team environment, providing a professional and quality childcare program in a safe and stimulating environment
  • Collaborate with other educators, multidisciplinary team member’s families and other stakeholders to provide innovative quality early learning service
  • Support children with additional needs to be included and thrive in a safe environment

What do you need to bring?

  • Diploma or Certificate III in Early Childhood Education or Children’s Services, or evidence you are actively working towards these qualifications
  • Proven experience delivering high quality child care and education, particularly with children between 6 weeks and 6 years of age
  • Understanding of Child Protection issues and practices and sound knowledge of child care legislative and accreditation requirements
  • Demonstrated skills in documenting children’s learning through observations
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
