We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic Case Manager to join our team. As part of the team, you’ll be supporting women to maintain their accommodation or secure long -term housing while supporting them to navigate mainstream service systems, such as Centrelink, Drug and Alcohol programs, and legal systems just to name a few. A knowledge of mainstream systems and supports is an essential element of the role.
Anglicare Southern Queensland supports a variety of initiatives aimed at empowering women to make their own decisions and provide them with the resources needed to take control of their lives and participate in their community.
Based in Toowong, our Women’s Early Intervention Service provides targeted support and case management to women who have been referred through the WEIS Program – CourtLink, Police at Brisbane Watch-House and Brisbane Central and Brisbane South Probation and Parole Offices.
We are seeking a Recovery Practitioner (Case Manager) to provide client-centred support within a trauma informed framework to provide holistic case management to women who access the WEIS Program.
This role will is a full-time fixed term role until 30th of June 2023, with a possible extension.
You will advocate and care for clients with a specific focus on addressing clients' immediate housing needs at their point of contact with the criminal justice system. Some after hours and weekend work will be required.
This is a great opportunity for someone who has experience building rapport, demonstrating empathy, a person-centred approach, supporting vulnerable women to overcome challenges.
Starting pay level is SCHDI 5.1.
